About Bert.ForSale

Ever see a piece of art and have it interrupt you?

That’s the magic of art — connecting people, and fostering shared understanding through explorations of the human experience.

More than just reflection—art can be a call to action—using visual storytelling to heal, connect, and dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health and its myriad of manifestations.

Welcome to Bert.ForSale!

My name is Bert, and I’m the artist and creator behind this website. I’m happy to have you here and to share what this website is all about.

What is this all about?

Bert.ForSale is a gallery and art store—it’s a space where my creativity shares art on different topics. Right now I am focused on mental health and using art, and its expression, to help me heal. Making this website is part of the journey.

Every piece of art you’ll find in this “Mental Poster” series is inspired by real, raw emotions, and designed to spark conversations about mental health.

Through powerful illustrations and meaningful quotes, I aim to capture the feelings and experiences that often go unspoken.

Resonate?

If any of this resonates with you, I’d love for you to take a look around the site, explore the pieces, and maybe even find something that speaks to you or someone you care about. And don’t forget to subscribe or follow along for updates on new artwork, videos, and more.

Grateful.

Your visit and viewing are meaningful to me.

I want people to see the work and if you feel inclined, share it with others. Whether that’s through sharing the domain name, or buying a piece of art, thank you for time, attention, and supporting the power of art to heal and inspire.

It’s taken me over two years to get to the point of launching this website.

Learning how to share and open up can create fear like none other.

Look at what I’m doing. I’ve been stone-cold with fear all my life holding me back from sharing.

So many starts and then, like a deflating balloon left over from the party, slowly, persistently are brought back down and find yourself where one has landed many times before.

It feels safe. Giving up is what fear wants to happen. The source of your fear is trying to protect you—it’s an honest reaction, but used wrong-time, wrong-place.

“No one wants to hear you whine, suck it up, dude.” the voice inside the head is saying (that’s the fear).

That’s all done now.

If you struggle with mental health at any level, I see you and can relate.

You are NOT the ONLY ONE feeling the way you do.

Take this visit as a sign you’re on the right path.

Take this visit as inspiration to work on your self-care, or maybe share—with anyone, on any level.

It helps.

You can help make a difference—one piece of art, one story, and one conversation at a time.

Be well,
Bert
